The park was opened in 1825. It is one of the largest ornamental park in Cheltenham featuring one of the largest pump rooms left in the UK, Pittville Pump Rooms.
It has been given a Grade II listing by the English Heritage register of the historic parks and gardens.
The park is split into two sides; the Eastern Side is home to the Pittville Pump Rooms, childrens play area and avaries. The Western Side offers a more natural feel with woodland and glorious lakes in which you can fish during the fishing season.
The play park for children has recently gone under renovation meaning the parker is safer, offering better stable flooring which is also waterproof so the park can be enjoyed all year round and a new range of activities for the children.
