The Holst Birthplace Museum is located in the house of Gustav Holst; he was born there in 1874.
The museum displays the majority of his life including personal belongings, even his piano of which The Planets was composed.
The house is still decorated to its period showcasing the way of life from the century. The kitchen is still working along with the laundry. There is a beautifully elegant drawing rooms and Edwardian Nursery.
