Barn Own Centre

History

The mission for The Barn Owl Centre's is the advancement of conservation of the Barn Owl and other species of Owl through various environmental projects, research, studies and other such activities that will help to enhance public education on the ecology and preservation of Owls.

There is lots to see and do at the centr such as Birds of Prey Experiences and Photography Days.

During Birds of Prey Experience the centre is closed, allowing staff to dedicate their time to their audience and of course, the owls they will be flying. This creates an all round more focused and better experience for both the owls and and the guests. Please note there is a minimum age of 4 for the Owl Flying experience and a minimum age of 10 for the Hawk and Owl Experience.

For the Photography Days, there centre will do its best to tailor to the ability of all photographers, from beginners to professionals. The best part about the owl centre and the photography days is that you are able to capture these magnificent animals in natural environments. These days also help to raise funds for the chairity's work, it also raises additional funds for another active charity supporting these birds in the wild.

The centre is available to cater for events and birthday parties. All visits to the centre must be pre-booked.
